Artist Bio

Rosalie Fisher is an active, professional performer based in the Southwestern United States.  An actress-writer, with a passion for creating documentary short films that she brings to local audiences to facilitate community dialogues.  She's an advocate of the "See Jane" initiative at the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, and has provided consulting to Brave New Films on the community dialogue process. Rosalie has worked with the Museum of Tolerance, the Institute for Nonviolence, and the National Conflict Resolution Center. She is a certified mediator and Civil Dialogue facilitator among her many other talents. Rosalie is available for guest speaking events through AudacitySpeakers.com.

TRAINING:

Rosalie Fisher has trained with iconic trailblazers in their craft from around the world, including Janice Orlandi from the Actor's Movement Studio, Kathryn Gately & Richard Poole of the Gately Poole Acting Studio for Meisner Technique, Giles Foreman of the Actors Centre London (students include Michael Fassbender, Tom Hardy), Paula Murray Cole a key developer of the Rasabox method, Sam Christensen creator of the Signature Performance method, and Jessica Beck scholar-practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method and master trainer of Alba Technique. Rosalie has studied at Rose Bruford College, one of the leading Drama Schools in the United Kingdom (graduates include Oscar Winner Gary Oldman) and Arizona State University.
